Scheduled Maintenance

Over the next week we will be doing some upgrades and changes to our servers. We expect there could be some delays or errors when trying to view pages. Effected Servers:
mail.spraticnet.com email (You will not miss any emails. If you can't access your email don't worry. Your emails will not get denied or lost. Just not accessible at some times through out the upgrades.)
All .net servers (include irc possible 12 hour outage could be expected) .net exceptions: All SpraticNet.net web hosting 24/hour support and servers are NOT affected. If you have purchased a domain from SpraticNet.net and are using its servers for your hosting and email for your site you are NOT affected.
We are continuing to grow and expand our services and this will open SpraticNet to NEW exciting features in the near future as we come inch closer and closer to the EMU.
SpraticNet's Close Encounter with a Tornado

This is just a little story that happened here just at the last week I believe in april. I watch storms alot and almost join a SkyWarn Team for storm chasing. It's alot of fun. However, I don't have that much time to spare and do it. I listen to the skywarn HAM radio durning storms and use www.weatherTap.com Radar Lab HD. It's pretty much live radar with tons of information for tracking storms if anyone is interested in that stuff. It shows warnings, direction, estimated times even to a neighbor hood, and much, much more.
The last storm here we had five tornados. It was developing over SpraticNet's Home. Thank's to some local equipment donations most of the servers are on power backups which gives us protection and 99.9% uptime now on all servers. (Report other wise to kitek@spraticnet.com if you are seeing some outages that I'm not aware of.
This picture was taken from the front side of my Corp. That I work for. It didn't hit our building but it passed beside it and across the parking lot.
This storm also dropped baseball size hail over SpraticNet's home and cause roof damage and Major damage to our cars. It was pretty freaky sounding hearing baseballs hit the roof super hard from falling thousands of feet from the sky. Just a story to share.

SpraticNet Wiki now Live!
After some users suggestions and polls, the SpraticNet Team held a meeting a few weeks ago to setup our own Wiki for SpraticNet content. We really thought it was a great idea for others to find information about our services and for other users to be able to keep it updated and accurate as possible. There we be some moderators to keep an eye on things there so that we don't get some weird or harming posts to our Wiki. You will have to create seperate accounts if you want to add or modify any information there. Just beware if anyone attempts to harm the data will have penalties that will include ban or loss of XC. I don't believe anyone here at SpraticNet would do such a thing anyhow. Its the outside world we have to watch. We have such a great community here. Please pm or post bugs in the bugs forum if you find something not working properly. If you have a suggestion for the wiki site please post in the suggestions forum.

eXiled Bank and Trust now open!
After a couple of hundreds of hours of work, and testing the eXiled Bank & Trust site is ready to be opened to the public. This website provides users with a way to manage, check, and spend their eXiled Cash. There are only five items available at launch, only because we aren't sure of our limitations on what kind of items we can and cannot use. All of the items available now are Founders Items, which means they are special.

This site is filled with useful crafter tools for use with the Spraticnet.com eXiled Server. Please login for full access to this site and its tools. Please note that the login for this site is the same as for the Spraticnet.com forums. It may take up to 24hours for newly registered users to be allowed access to this site and the tools found here, so if you have just recently registered for the forums this may be why you cannot login to this site.
